My name is Joëlle Abi Char, I studied Biology at Université Saint Joseph Beirut and obtained my Ph.D. in Heart Physiology at Université Paris VII. I worked in the research field of Experimental Cardiology at KU Leuven for four years and a half after which I made the move from academia to industry toward Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs field.
This career move has been a long process that started with change resistance and ended up with self-development. An adventure that led me to the doors of one of the most beautiful gifts of my life: "Coaching".
I followed during 2 years a basic and a more developed coaching courses at the International Coach Federation (ICF) certified "Leading and Coaching Academy" in Brussels.
Coaching has not only been a new discovery to me but at the same time a flashback to many years ago when I was an active volunteering leader in many teenagers’ organizations and groups. It has been a kind reminder of how sharing a gift can be a source of double happiness.
I would personally describe coaching as a trip, to a new place where you taste new flavors and see new colors and shapes, a kind of trip that makes you Grow. Coaching is a trip to your hidden capacities and talents, where you'll have the chance to see yourself and the world around you with new "Perspectives".
I founded "Perspectives - Life and Business Coaching" to share the gift of personal development that I received and to make a difference in the society in which I live through providing a professional coaching service.
"Perspectives - Life and Business Coaching" follows a wholistic coaching approach to enhance individuals self-awareness, uncover their hidden capacities and talents ensuring a right study field, career choice and development well balanced with a healthy personal life.
